Students make waves at conference!

At a professional conference this month, three of our students made waves.

Three students affiliated with the Department made presentations to the Justice Studies Association in Rhode Island.  The students who presented included:

* Mary Johnson (undergraduate student in criminal justice) who presented "Incarceration: Who Pays the Price?"

* Andrew Howell (graduate student in criminal justice and criminology) who presented "Does It All Add Up?  How the Office of National Drug Control Policy Misleads the Public and Protects Its Own Interests"

* Ronald Holste (graduate student in social sciences) who presented "Ten Year Plans to End Homelessness: Their Targets and Strategy Designs Around the Country."

Each student will soon present to the Society for the Study of Social Problems in New York City!
