Matthew Robinson
(ps/cj) recently traveled with two students from the Department to the annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Social Problems.  Robinson presented "From the ‘Ivory Tower’ to the Real World: Using Scientific Evidence to Inform Drug and Crime Control Policy."  Student Mary Johnson presented "Incarceration: Who Pays the Price?" and student Ronny Holste presented "Ending Homelessness: A Report on the Costs and Causes of Chronic Homelessness in the United States, the Ten-Year Plans Constructed to Eliminate It, and the Strategies that Work for Those Who Struggle with It."  Robinson also presented a paper written by student Andy Howell titled "Does It All Add Up? How the Office of National Drug Control
Policy Misleads the Public and Protects its own Interests."
