The following presentations and web pages, developed by Dr. Matthew Robinson deal with some alleged conspiracies as part of an undergraduate class at Appalachian State University.  Some of the material is controversial.  If you are a student in the class, you do not have to agree with any of it; Instead, you should try to understand the facts in order to understand the alleged conspiracies in these cases.

Assignment 1: Watch the film "Unprecedented" in class and take careful notes. Then, summarize the main argument in the film, using your own words. Be sure to lay out the case, using as much evidence as you can from the film, that suggests the 2000 presidential election was rigged or "stolen" as a result of a conspiracy by powerful interests. Finally, tell me whether you think the argument in the film is correct or not, and why. The assignment MUST BE TYPED! The assignment is due November 19.

Be sure to lay out the case, using as much evidence as you can from the film, that suggests the attacks of 9/11 were carried out by the US government as a result of a conspiracy. Finally, tell me whether you think the argument in the film is correct or not, and why. The assignment MUST BE TYPED! The assignment is due December 3.
