E. Ike Udogu, Professor of Political Science and Faculty
Fellow, Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice, and President of
the Association of Third World Studies, attended the 24th annual
international conference of the association at Winston Salem
State University,
Winston Salem, North Carolina on November 2-4, 2006.
He received two awards at this conference—one for his
Outstanding Contributions to the Advancement of Third World Studies, and the
other for Outstanding Contributions to Scholarship on Human Rights, Management
of Ethnic Diversity, Democracy and Democratization and Peaceful Coexistence in
Africa.
